So, this trip away was really branching out. I was going to be joining a new group of people – The Extra Mural Archaeological Society (shortened immediately to EMAS), which used to be linked to Birkbeck College in London. And Mike was taking the plunge and coming with me!
Scott McCracken made a great leader for the Study Tour (not a holiday, as Christine kept reminding us), the Weather Gods in the form of the Jetstream kept the sun shining and the temperatures warm – and we saw some Wonderful Things.
